Description : The most colourful temple festival of Kerala, Thrissur Pooram attracts large masses of devotees and spectators from all parts of the State and even outside. Pooram celebrated during the Malayalam month Medam (April/ May), is a grand eight day festival with elephants, parasols, fire works and drumming.
