Description : Main gate of the Emperor Akbar`s Tomb at Sikandra just outside Agra. 14 kms from the famous Taj Mahal. Houses the mausoleum of Emperor Akbar, who started building it in his lifetime, but was completed after his death by Emperor Jehangir in 1612 AD. The work on this monument started in 1605AD.
