Description : Kumarakom is undoubtedly one of the most picturesque places in Kerala, God's own country. Kumarakom village is a group of 27 islets surrounded by canals branching from the Vembanad lake in Kottayam District. The main mode of transportation here is through the water ways in small canoes, boats or very large 'Kettu Valloms' (house boats).
