Description :
Inspired by nineteenth-century tradition of works, my work fuses the dream state with reality. And yet, in a way they are both the same thing. To a dreamer, a dream is as real as life is to the living. The soft ethereal background encourages the viewers mind to escape and create its own alternative reality within itself. This subconscious internal journey creates a mesh of states of being - the subtle and the tangible, the physical and the ethereal. Sleep is outwardly a circumstance of non activity, but on the mental plane, sleep is often the antithesis of stillness. The images try to capture that integral motion in sleep which characterizes all dreams.
